The Wedding Party

Her side

We asked each member for their most favorite memory of us. We thought it would be fun to include them for your entertainment.

Maid of honor - Dr. Boram Phong

Some of my favorite memories with Liza are from when we were roommates or lived in the same dorm building. We lived across the hall from each other during our second year. One night, I saw a mouse (ew!) crawling inside my room. I was too scared to sleep and went across the hall to wake Liza up. She let me share the tiny twin size bed with her so I didn't have to sleep in my contaminated room. Best friend ever :)

I met Liza in undergrad when we were young, crazy, and irresponsible. It only took me a couple encounters to know that this girl was fun and I wanted to hang out with her more and more. We would always talk about boys, clothes, and the trendiest places to hit up. Fast-forward 10 years later, I’d like to think we are still young and crazy but we’ve actually grown up, minus the fact that we still talk about the same things. Although we live at opposite sides of California of more recent years, she has always made the effort to keep us close by texting or calling daily and also making trips to see me. She is one of the most encouraging people I know and she will forever have my back, like when I come across some dangerous Asian girl fight at the bar (totally kidding but one can hope). It’s still hard to believe that one of my best friends is getting married but I’m glad she found someone who will provide her with a lifetime of happiness and someone who will always love her for the beautiful person she is. I can’t wait for her to say “I do” and witness this amazing couple start their lives together as husband and wife. XOXO

I’ve had the pleasure of calling Liza my friend for the past 14 years. And we’ve had a

ridiculous amount of memorable moments. It all started when I met Liza in high

school and before you knew it – Liza’s mom was giving us rides after school. We

then went on orchestra trips, watched TV at each other’s homes, went to awkward

school dances and had joint birthday parties because we’re only 1 day apart!

Through it all Liza, was and still remains, one of my closest friends. Liza - I can’t wait

to be a part of your special day so that in the years to come we can fondly remember

this moment like all of our other memories.

Bridesmaid - Joy Lee

Liza and I have too many inside jokes to tell. We've been joined at the hip since birth, rocking twinsie outfits since day one! I have all the glamour shots to prove it! I can't believe the cousin that I used to play Aladdin and Jasmine with in our grandma's shower is about to enter married life! I'm so grateful to be able to travel through life's stages together. I'm incredibly blessed to have such a loyal, hard-working, and supportive cousin and friend! I can't wait to witness and celebrate this marriage! I love you both!

Bridesmaid - Joyce Lim

Somehow between Liza growing up in Kentucky and me growing up kind of all over the place, we have grown from cousins to friends to sisters. She is one of my biggest supporters and cheerleaders and has been walking alongside me during the most important periods of my life so I am excited to be standing beside her as she makes one of the biggest decisions of her life!
